To reliably express myself I point to letters on a letterboard or keyboard one at a time to spell out my thoughts. My Communication Regulation Partner (CRP) holds the board for me, records and reads MY words. For better understanding, click here What’s up with the letterboard
Nice to meet you
June 2023
Nice to meet you. I'm Noah Seback. I'd encourage you to check out my introduction below. I wrote this back in the day when I launched my blogsite and it still rings true. I'm still that same nonspeaking autistic giving the impression that the lights are on, but no one's home. But I'm in here all right. I just need to spell my thoughts out by pointing to letters on a letterboard or keyboard one at a time with a communication regulation partner rather than speak or write. It's something any nonspeaker can learn to do, needs to learn to do, with the proper instruction. Because I'm able to express myself, people can get to know the true me and I can speak into my own life and future. Appearances and first impressions can be deceiving. Judgements are dangerous. I invite you to check what you thought you knew about nonspeaking autistics at the door and join me. I'm Noah Seback. This Is Me.
